Philip Morris International is a major producer of tobacco products. Since 2008 the company has been acting as an independent organization selling tobacco in 180 countries. There are several factors that affect the price movement. First of all, it’s important to consider the rate of dollar in relation to other national currencies. This is due to the fact that the company’s settlements are usually carried out in the USD. It’s also recommended to consider the revenue, product volumes in different countries. Another factor is the US tax rate and its changes. Changes in the credit rating, financial losses due to lawsuits. A factor negatively affecting the revenue is the promotion of healthy lifestyle that harms the demand for tobacco products.
